Made in France

I think this is a Model 38T sax, though it may predate the use of the "Duke" moniker that was later associated with the 38T and which was engraved on the horns.

If you haven't see them already, you'll want to watch the youtube videos of "jazzmanted" about these Vitos which are Made in France by Beaugnier.

This tenor is one of the nicest examples I have seen of a French Vito. Just a few small areas showing minor dentwork.

The neck is original and in great shape with no pull-down.
The bow and bell are in great shape.
Original amber-colored lacquer.
Gold colored springs. These may be the "rocket wire springs" referred to in the last paragraph of this advertisement.
Not sure what "rocket wire springs are", but this webpage refers to them.

Older pads in very good condition...this horn is ready to play.
