$375 for horn and case

If you consider that the price to rent an alto sax is more than $50 a month; then 9 months of rental payments is $450 or more.
Compare that to what I am offering here.

When I received this horn, I took off all the keys, thoroughly washed the body and neck, polished all the keys and carefully re-assembled the horn.
In the process of re-assembly, I replaced 8 pads and made sure all pads were sealing.
I adjusted and regulated the horn. What does that mean? Sometimes when you press one finger down, you may close 3 or 4 pads. It is critical that all the pads close simulataneously. If one pad closes before the others, it essentially props the other pads up and prevents them from closing unless an excessive amount of pressure is used. If it is too far out of regulation, no amount of pressure can make a pad close.

This horn had a dent on the bow...the bottom-most curve of the sax. I lifted the dent somewhat, but you can still see it.
I tried to take a picture of it HERE, but it is still difficult to see. It has not impact on playing the sax.
There are some scratches, perhaps most notably around the neck strap ring.

Regardless of all that, this is a easy-playing, good-looking, reliable, clean sax.
