This mouthpiece was originally purchased new approximately 1964.
But looking at how the floor of the arched throat slopes smoothly into the bore without a step, it looks like it was actually made in the 50's.

Kenny Garret putatively plays a Selmer Soloist "E",but a longshank.

I measure the tip opening to be 0.083".
This is the orginal, unaltered facing.

A few very small ligature scratches on the back.
Minor light scratches on the beak...no tooth wear to speak of.
Tip and rails in great playable condition.

I wanted to mention how nicely formed the 'ramp' is on this mouthpiece.
Try as I might, I wasn't able to get a decent photograph of it though. It is so much easier to get photos of the baffle and floor.

This one on eBay went for $995 on May 2, 2010.
