This 1952 Super Balanced Action alto is in great condition.
Very responsive, with fast action...this horn is on the opposite end of the spectrum from those clunky stiffly sprung horns from China and Germany.

If you are looking for a lyrical Paul Desmond sort of sound, this may be just the sax for you.

I've gone over the horn entirely...taken off all the keys, cleaned the body and keys, treated and conditioned the leather pads, replaced pads, corks and felts as needed, and finally, reassembled the horn, adjusting and regulating the key action.

This horn has been relacquered.
